Mary Bones here with my top 10 songs of 2025! These are some of my top played tracks from the year. Replay-ability is strong on all and that’s what was needed! Some comfort food. They can be found on this Spotify playlist. Be sure and tune in to Angular Sound every Sunday at 5 PM PT for more!

1. Tshegue – Plus de place nulle part
I put this song forth as the bop of the year that you just haven’t heard yet! I dare you to sit still!

2. Rosalia – Reliquia
Like the rest of the world, I am obsessed with Rosalia’s Lux and will be for years to come. This song in particular is flawless. Caroline Shaw’s contributions to the arrangement = chef’s kiss.

3. Dijon – Yamaha
Dijon seems like such a good guy? This album is mostly just about him trying his best to be a devoted husband and dad. He’s blowing up this year between the production quality on his own album, Baby, and his collaboration with Bieber on Swag.

4. Titanic – Escarbo Dimensiones
Mabe Fratti has been outdoing everyone in the game for the last several years. Titanic’s entire oeuvre is innovative and genius.

5. Quadeca – Monday
The instrumentation on this track really has me in its grip, as I am a sucker for orchestral pop.

6. caroline – Tell me I never knew that (feat Caroline Polachek)
Lush soundscape on this one, caroline layered in Polachek’s vocals and the strings beautifully.

7. catbandcat – Fork and Knife
Deepest cut of the list. I’m gearing up for catbandcat domination since they support at least two of my favorite things.

8. Jim Legxacy – stick
This song is really catchy, what can I say?

9. Lucrecia Dalt – cosa rara
Check out all of her newest album, A Danger to Ourselves!

10. Hannah Frances – The Space Between
Beautiful finger picking and fun chord progression.
