California-born but now based in Manchester, UK; folk musician Jesca Hoop performed 3 songs for SPACE 101.1 on a beautiful day in Magnuson Park near our Seattle studio. Recorded June 20, 2026.
Lucy Clearwater
Lucy Clearwater is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Her debut album "People ≠ Possessions" released May 14, 2026. In June 2026, Lucy and her band made their way to Seattle on their tour, and performed 3 songs from the record in this special "Transmissions" session on SPACE 101.1. Liv Victorino
Liv Victorino began her career as a solo folk singer-songwriter project. In 2023, Victorino reintroduced herself with a new band and alternative rock sound. In this special "Transmissions" sessions, we get a glimpse into Liv Victorino performing solo again, premiering some new and unreleased songs with us.

Geologist
For over 25 years, Geologist has been making music with Animal Collective. This January saw the release of Geologist's first solo LP "Can I Get a Pack Of Camel Lights?" Out on Drag City.
SPACE 101.1 was thrilled to host Geologist for this special live session.
Gretta Seabird
Portland, OR's Gretta Seabird is the collaboration between friends Lee McDonnell and Jeremiah Brunnhoelzl, whose debut EP Cycling was born out of a songwriting challenge that sparked their creative partnership. Blending reflective lyrics and a sound that drifts between folk, rock and at times folktronica, the songs trace themes of cycles, change, and renewal all rolled into one EP.
Abbey Blackwell
Abbey Blackwell has lived many lives as a musician, playing bass with groups like Grammy-nominated band Alvvays, surf pop band La Luz, Wayne Horvitz, Macklemore, Jonathan Wilson, Cassandra Jenkins, and Shana Cleveland. For over a decade, Abbey has been weaving as a gigging musician between the avant-garde, jazz, classical, rock, and pop. Since 2020, she's been dedicating her energy on composing for herself, with a focus on writing for solo guitar and voice. Her newest release 'Dream a Day' released on April 7, 2026. Recorded in the Officer's Club in Magnuson Park on January 1st, 2026.
Born Ruffians
Toronto-based band Born Ruffians stopped by SPACE 101.1 for an interview, and we quickly recorded Luke Lalonde playing three of the band's songs in an intimate acoustic session.
Gina Miles
Singer-songwriter Gina Miles has accomplished a lot in her young career. After releasing her first EP in 2022, she won season 23 of The Voice. Since then she's released a handful of singles. Gina stopped by SPACE 101.1 to perform some of these original songs.
Sara Camille
Seattle artist Sara Camille blends folk, rock, blues and a little country, too. Inspired by the Montana countryside, she taught herself how to play the guitar during the pandemic and began writing songs a few months later.

Darksoft is a one-man dream pop and shoegaze project, backed by a live band for shows. Blending lush melodies, alternative rock textures, and introspective lyrics, the project has released conceptual albums exploring universal truths and existential themes since 2018.
