Over the next several weeks we will be featuring Top 10 lists from some of our DJs and volunteers here at SPACE 101.1 FM.
Listeners of History as Music/Music as History must know, I introduce myself in every episode by saying: As my daughters still call me, I am Prof. DJ Grumpy. I also turn to my daughters often to measure the pulse of the “youth,” asking them for a song on my episode’s topic that the “young people” listen to. So, with the end of the year in sight, I thought I would turn to them once again and ask for their list of 2024. To ask them what they listen to when History as Music/Music as History comes on the air and they scurry out of the room. They chose not to go by genre or songs released this year or even their Spotify wraps, but just their top songs of the year.
