About this program

NW Orbit is a weekly local music show, celebrating the diverse sounds of the pacific northwest. With a focus on up-and-coming artists around Seattle, NW Orbit curates a mix of artists past & present, that extends across all WA and OR. In addition to playing studio recordings from northwest artists, NW Orbit broadcasts exclusive artist interviews, and live performances from our Magnuson Park Live! series.

About the DJ

My involvement with SPACE started when my band Hi Crime was asked to perform for the station’s live music series, Magnuson Park Live! in the fall of 2022. Our band experience working with this small, friendly, music loving community filled me with the same great feelings I had as a student, working as a DJ & program director at my college radio station, KTRM in MO. Luckily for me, SPACE was in need of an audio engineer, and I came on board in January 2023 to run sound for MPL. Not too long after, in June 2023 I joined SPACE in a more official capacity as station coordinator, and host of NW Orbit.
