About this program

Wedgwood Rocks is like that mixtape your rad older sister made you back in the day. Drawing heavy inspiration from the music heard on college radio in the late 80’s and early 90’s – bands like The Pixies, The Cure, and New Order and the band’s that influenced those bands like The V.U., Big Star, and the Modern Lovers. Each week we’ll pick a different theme and spin a lot of great records on that theme. You’ll hear everything from vintage alternative classics and punk anthems to country-weepers and one-hit-wonders. Does She Sell Sanctuary by the Seashore? We’ll find out.

We named the show after the really large glacial boulder found in Wedgwood. Look it up – that thing is HUGE.

About the DJ

Eric & Jennie met at their college radio station and have been sharing music with each other (and now you) ever since. Their Northeast roots have given them a proper appreciation for The Feelies, Yo La Tengo, and Taylor Ham (also incorrectly known in southern Jersey as “Pork Roll”). Eric also lovingly curates the SPACE Mix heard here on SPACE daily and serves as SPACE’s Program Director.
